Asalamu 'alaikum and Welcome!

Bismillah wal hamdolilah was-salatu was-salam 'ala rasool Allah

Asalamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatahu!

I welcome everyone to this new initiative and make du'a that inshallah ta'ala it is of benefit.

One day it hit me, like lightning in the midst of the night, our prayers - salat - will be the MOST important thing for us on the Day of Judgment. I had read the hadeeth many times before...the Prophet sallalahu alayhi wasalam said:

"Prayer is the first matter that will be judged on the Day of Judgment - if it is accepted then the rest of our actions will be accepted, and if it is rejected then the rest of our actions will also be rejected."

...but it never really sinked until this one night. Realizing that I will stand in front of Allah tabaraka wa ta'ala and He will ask me about my prayers...knowing that if they are not sound then everything else after that will not be sound....it gave me chills. It started to make me think and ponder about ways we, as a community, can enhance our prayers and ready to meet Allah. From this thinking came Salat101.

It is the aim of this blog to give our readers super-amazing prayer enhancing reminders and tips which inshallah will aid us in building our salat...one step at a time, inshallah!

Inshallah ta'ala, we will go through this journey together, envisioning success in regards to our prayers and implementing an action plan to get there. "Actions are only by intentions, and every man will have that which he intended"
